GST Admission is a centralized method for university admissions. Students can now enroll in public universities in Bangladesh in a new manner thanks to the admissions system. Students can apply through a single portal and take a single combined admission test rather than applying to each university separately. From this article, you will know about the GST admission result and the system of gst admission.

The official website posts the results of the admission exam. Candidates will only be deemed successful if they score 30 or higher on the admission exam. A merit score will be given to qualified applicants, enabling them to apply to the participating universities. Let’s know it in detail from the further sections of this article.

GST Admission System 2025-2026

There are 20 universities that use the GST admission test procedure. Candidates must pass both the admission test and the primary selection procedure in order to be admitted.

There are a restricted number of students who can take the GST admission test for each unit because each unit has a set number of seats available for admission. A predetermined number of students will be chosen from the group of primary applicants.

The application cost is 1500 tk (one thousand five hundred only) and must be paid online in order to take the admission test. A further Tk 500 (five hundred only) will be charged to the application fee if you want to take the Architecture Department’s practical (drawing) test.

The application process began on 18 February 2026 at 12:00 PM, and interested candidates can submit their applications from that time. The deadline for submitting the application was 14 March 2026 at 12:00 AM, so applicants must complete and submit their forms within this specified period. Late applications will not be accepted after the closing date.

GST Admission Test Date

The GST Admission Test 2026 has a rigid timetable from the time applications are accepted until the day of the test. Keeping abreast of the GST timetable offers you a distinct advantage. You can increase your chances of getting a place at a public institution and avoid last-minute mistakes by paying close attention now.

Admission Result

The only students who are eligible to apply for admission to the approved universities are those who have passed the GST cluster integrated entrance exam. Along with the merit ranking, the results of the applicant who received at least 30 points on the entrance exam will be made public. The admission test result will be published within 1 week after the test finished. Each university in the GST cluster will use the published merit list as the foundation for the admissions process.

Seat Plan

The seat allocation in GST is usually published 2-3 days before the exam. The seat allocation information is sent to the applicant’s registered mobile number via SMS. Besides, the student can check the building and room number assigned to him by logging in to the official website. The exam is usually held at the center that the student has given as the first choice at the time of application. However, if the number of students is large, seats may be allocated in different educational institutions under the center.

Subject Choice

After the GST results are published, each university under the cluster opens its own application portal. This is where you decide which subjects you want to study. You must apply to each university individually based on your GST score. You will be asked to provide a list of subjects in order of your preference. Always place the subject you want most at the top. Even if your score is slightly lower, the auto-migration system might eventually move you up to your preferred choice.

Subject Allotment Result

Once the applications are closed, universities publish several merit lists based on the available seats and student scores. If your score matches the requirement for a subject in your preference list, you will be allotted that subject. If you get your 3rd choice in the first list, you might be moved up to your 2nd or 1st choice in later lists if seats become vacant. To keep your seat and stay in the migration process, you must pay a primary admission fee and submit your original HSC/SSC documents at a designated university.

Final Admission

This is the last step where you confirm your seat at the university you have finally been allotted to after all migration rounds. After several rounds of migration, you will be assigned a final university and a final subject. You must pay the remaining portion of the admission fee to the specific institution. You will need to visit the university campus physically for final document verification and to complete the departmental registration.
